Harmony Hutch LLC Policies/Terms & Conditions

We appreciate your interest in visiting Harmony Hutch!  Please read the following information before booking, as it contains details and policies regarding booking and services at Harmony Hutch LLC.

 

What is Harmony Hutch?
Harmony Hutch LLC is a holistic spa and beauty enhancement studio.  It is a micro, solo-operated spa that can only accommodate one client at a time and is not suitable for children, animals, or large groups.

 

Where is Harmony Hutch?

Harmony Hutch is located on the first floor of 118 W. Main Street, Somerset, Pennsylvania, next to the Pat Stephano Office.  The building is currently the Angelitto Hair Co. building (the large grey building).

Where do I park?

There is parking along the street at the front of the building and a small parking area in the back.  There are signs for designated parking spots for many businesses in the area, so be sure to park in places that are not reserved for these other businesses & residents.  There are many metered parking areas within walking distance of the area, as well, but there are also many free spaces nearby.

What to expect when arriving:

There are two main entrances to the building: front and back.  Sometimes, through the week, other businesses will lock the doors after a specific time in the evening while Harmony Hutch is in the middle of a service.  If the main doors are locked and you do have a scheduled appointment (especially if arriving early), please text or call 814-233-7109 and leave a message.  Once Harmony Hutch is free to respond, they will get back to you and unlock the doors.  There have been security issues, which is why the door may be locked sometimes.

If the main doors are unlocked, but the door into Harmony Hutch is locked, please feel free to sit in the hallway waiting area, as Harmony Hutch may be servicing another client during that time.

Current Services Provided at Harmony Hutch:
Harmony Hutch offers a variety of spa services, including spa facials, skincare, nail services, lash and brow treatments, facial waxing, and holistic services. These services are subject to change and may have varying prices.  Massages are included in specific areas during facials, manicures, and pedicures, but we currently do NOT provide full-body massages.

 

How to schedule a service at Harmony Hutch:
Harmony Hutch has limited hours, with one operator's hours opening randomly due to other employment outside the spa.  Check out the online booking link to see what's available and what services you want at www.harmonyhutch.com.  Services are available "by appointment only" and require reservations in advance.  Follow the prompts in the booking link, which will require you to create an online profile or account connected to an active email address and request a mobile phone number to receive notification texts.  You will then have a client profile created that will track the services you book, the discount codes it sends, and any client forms you fill out.  It's worth noting that Harmony Hutch uses the Fresha Booking system to finalize bookings on the website. This system charges Harmony Hutch to send notifications for bookings and ensures that clients receive reminders for any bookings they make. Therefore, ensure that you use the correct emails and cell phone numbers when setting up your booking profile.  Credit Cards are required to reserve any bookings (they are not charged to book a service).

 

Another way to book a service is to text the business cell at 814-233-7109.
The last method (typically taking longer) is to call the business cell, as there are no receptionists, and the owner may be involved with other employment that doesn't allow phone calls.

 

All these methods will still require a credit card to reserve any of the services booked.  If a booking is scheduled without confirming with a credit card, and someone else wishes to reserve on the same date & time with a credit card, they can claim that time, and the first unsecured booking may be removed.

 

Those using a Gift Certificate must still use a credit card to reserve appointments.

 

Clients will receive both text and email notifications when services are booked, 2 days before, and on the appointment day. Ensure the information is correct and that these notifications are accurate.

Harmony Hutch LLC Booking/Cancellation Policy:
Harmony Hutch takes the time to prepare for your scheduled appointment before your arrival.  Harmony Hutch understands that there are certain circumstances in which clients need to cancel appointments.  When clients schedule and then cancel their appointments without giving enough notice, they prevent another client from being seen and lose income for the business to cover expenses and wages.  If you need to cancel an appointment, please reschedule online to a future appointment or contact Harmony Hutch ASAP by calling/texting 814-233-7109 (leaving a voicemail), emailing harmonyhutch@yahoo.com, or messaging us on our social media pages (PLEASE NOTE: Do not respond, text, or communicate through the Fresha booking text notification number, as Harmony Hutch does NOT receive these messages).  If you are uncertain about attending a scheduled appointment, we ask that you prioritize and plan as much as possible by canceling outside of the 24-hour booking period or rescheduling for a later date and time.  Late cancellations and Call/no-show situations will trigger the Fresha Booking system to charge the credit card on file 50% of the total booked services for that day and time.  There are no refunds on these fees. However, under certain circumstances (inclement weather, illness, medical emergencies, traffic issues, or other uncontrollable circumstances), they may be applied to a future appointment or converted into a Gift Certificate, at the discretion of Harmony Hutch.

 

If Harmony Hutch LLC needs to cancel appointments, clients will be contacted as soon as possible and will be allowed to reschedule their services for a future date and time without incurring any fees.  For the inconvenience, clients who use discount codes that may expire by the next appointment will be honored. Any clients paying full price for services will receive 5% off their next service, used within 6 months.

If you encounter any issues with the booking system, please don't hesitate to contact us at 814-233-7109. There have been reported incidents with booking issues with this software. Please save any emails, screenshots, or other relevant information to forward to Harmony Hutch, so any booking issues can be submitted to Fresha for review.

 

No Call/No Show:
New clients are advised to arrive 15 minutes before a scheduled service to complete forms, and returning clients are advised to arrive on time.  Any late arrivals may result in adjusted service times to fit within the allotted time, so that the next client can start on time.  The listed phone number on file will be contacted for clients who are 10 minutes late to inquire about their status.  Harmony Hutch reserves the right to refuse service to clients who are 15 minutes or more late and are subject to be charged 50% of the scheduled service for that time with no refunds; however, it may be permitted for uncontrollable/unexpected circumstances (at the discretion of Harmony Hutch) to be forwarded to a future appointment or applied to a Gift Certificate.  If clients do not show up or contact Harmony Hutch promptly (within 12 hours), they will forfeit their fees, and no refunds will be made.

The "Good Faith Forward" Policy:
The "Good Faith Forward" policy is for clients who have an uncontrollable situation that results in a late cancellation or a No-Call/No-Show and who have contacted Harmony Hutch as soon as possible to notify the business of what has happened.  Although we won't ask for personal details, we understand that there are circumstances that prevent clients from attending services.  The Fresha Booking system will charge a fee of 50% on credit cards on file for all services booked that are cancelled late (within 24 hours) and for No-call/No-show clients.  With a client's contact, Harmony Hutch may permit fees to be forwarded to a future appointment or transferred into a Gift Certificate (for circumstances outside the client's control).  Harmony Hutch may refuse to forward fees for clients with a recurring history of canceling late or for No-call/no-shows.  Forwarding fees to future appointments that are consecutively canceled and rescheduled may result in a loss of the fees after three consecutive cancellations, regardless of whether they occur within the 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.  Unexcused circumstances that may result in a loss of fees, like forgetting an appointment (which Harmony Hutch pays for notifications), not feeling like coming, changing plans, not arranging proper sitters, not having transportation, not having the money, schedule changes (unless the client has good communication in advance with Harmony Hutch about job schedules being varied), or something resulting in irresponsible planning on the clients end, are just some examples of what may cause a loss of fees without being forwarded or transferred to Gift Certificates.  The decision of what fees may or may not be forwarded is at the discretion of Harmony Hutch. 

 

We apologize for any inconvenience. We understand that from a client's viewpoint, if the service isn't received, it shouldn't be paid for; however, the way this type of business is set up can cost the company a significant loss in servicing other clients and paying for wages/expenses with blocked limited appointment times from others to those who can't commit for any reason.  Times are hard for everyone, and all we ask for is honesty and communication so we can work out things to prevent losses on both sides.

 

REFUSAL OF SERVICES:
Harmony Hutch LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.  However, someone will rarely be denied services.  Circumstances that may result in the refusal of services are:

 

*Harassment of clients against Harmony Hutch LLC, its employees, or its other clientele.

 

*Damage to property

 

*Refusal to complete waivers/forms (forms are for liability & insurance purposes)

 

*Minors (age 17 years and under) not being accompanied by a legal guardian,

 

*Credit Cards are not confirmed for reservations that cannot be charged due to late cancellations, no-call/no-show situations, or when completing service payments are not available (unpaid services may result in contact with law enforcement).

 

*Clients who continually show bad booking habits (late cancellations and/or no calls/no-shows) more than once in a short period or often.

 

Please note: Any client who owes late cancellation or no-call/no-show fees and holds an E-Gift Card, Gift Certificate, or forwarded fee is subject to having it voided fully or partially to cover unpaid fees or may have to give it to someone else to use, if future services are denied to that specific client.  Clients who do not reserve with a credit card and fail to show up for their scheduled appointments or cancel late may be required to pay for the next scheduled service in full upfront before another appointment is set.

 

Harmony Hutch Gift Certificates:
There are no refunds for gift certificates.  Some people may ask to exchange service-specific Gift Certificates for dollar-value amounts for other services or retail.  Harmony Hutch may be able to change services at request.  Some gift certificates have no dollar value (as they were donated) or may have a specific dollar value that can be used in exchange for services.  Gift Certificates with dollar values that expire can still be used after the expiration date; however, they will be reduced by $5 each month for every month beyond the expiration date.  Any Gift Certificates with no dollar value will expire after the expiration date.

 

 

Other information:

To receive discount codes and essential information for Harmony Hutch, please read our emails, sign up for our mailing list on our website if you haven't booked a service before, accept email subscriptions, or like and follow our Facebook business page.  We usually provide great deals to current clients who receive emails, have never booked a service, and interact with our social media posts.

 

Positive feedback and reviews are encouraged to help us understand which services you enjoyed and provide input for others to visit.  If you want to leave a negative review, don't hesitate to contact us first to let us know what happened and how we can resolve the issue.  When a service is completed, we can receive reviews on Google, Facebook, and through Fresha (Online Booking).

 

We accept cash, cards, and gift certificates only.  A 3.9% fee will be added for debit or credit cards to cover processing fees for on-site card purchases (we use Square as our payment processor).  When booking online and using your card to reserve your appointment, Harmony Hutch can check out services (excluding retail) with the same card used for the booking at the end of the service, without incurring any additional fees.  Cash is accepted on-site.  If you are using cash or Gift Certificates, we can pay out without charging the card, but a Credit Card is still required when booking to ensure that clients can be committed to a booked date and time. This is due to the 24-hour cancellation and No-Call/No-Show Policy that is in place.

 

Clients who book regularly or have multiple visits and a good booking history, attend their services as scheduled, and communicate effectively with their technicians are usually our higher priority for providing extra exceptional service deals and highly requested service dates/times over new clients for whom we haven't developed a mutual client/business relationship.  

 

Harmony Hutch understands that not all businesses operate in the same way, for various reasons, and may not meet the expectations of all current or new clients.  The nature of our business makes these terms, conditions, and policies as straightforward as possible for anyone wishing to receive services from Harmony Hutch, so clients know what to expect and prevent any issues with the company's operations.  These policies may be changed as needed at any time for any reason.

 

If you have any concerns or problems with Harmony Hutch, please report them as soon as possible so the issue can be resolved.  Document any problems with photos and notes to better assist with addressing issues that can be shared with Harmony Hutch.
